hi there
if its petrol its at the front as you look at the engine its a paper filter in a black plastic housing part number 1109r6 or 1109r5
you will need a 27mm socket to get the cover off
if its a diesel same idea but it is under a black plastic aitr flow pipe that runs down beside the cylinder head
again a black plastic 27mm cover

Oil filters, contrary to fuel filters, are ALWAYS on the engine, beside it or (rarely) beneath it. But they are ALWAYS fixed on the engine itself. So if you look carefully you will find it, probably on the lower side of the engine. In a Picasso, it is sometime better to look from under the car because the engine's zone is rather difficult to access.
