Some places are taking DNA from anyone convicted of a felony.

In many state, all people sent to prison will have thier DNA taken. That way there is a data base for future use. DNA can help in future drug convictions also

They are creating a DNA database to check against for other crimes. Anyone (except for the moment juveniles) convicted of a felony gets the DNA test. There is a bill in the works now to make mandatory DNA testing for all crimes misdemeanors, felonies and for all age groups.

So his DNA is in a national database. When a crime is committed they can check the database and see if the DNA of a current or former prisoner matches.

They are now building a database of all people that go through prisons so that when a crime is commited rape or what ever, they will be able to throw the data into the computer and come up with the culpret.

To check their record of all crimes.If they find anything they are charged in prison. A high percentage of back crime was solved this way.

Because now they will own you for life. Whenever a crime happens, DNA is taken. If it is yours then oh well.

So they can bust him if he ever commits another crime. It's a right they give up as felons...like voting & owning guns.
