Yes,he did it.The PLO recognized Israel's right to exist after the Oslo accord in 1993...This didn't bring anything good for the Palestinians,who ,by recognizing Israel in the borders from 1967 ,gave up a major part of the land to Israel...
And it definitely didn't bring an independent state for the Palestinians as promised...so as long as there is not going to be justice for the Palestinians,there is not going to be peace...

When Arafat started his war of terror against Israel.He wanted all the land for arabs.Later he softened and recognised the state of Israel.
What he did'nt acknowledge was Israels' right to retain the occupied territories.He said the UN created the state of Israel on arab land in 1948 The capital Tel Aviv.This is what they(the UN)should enforce.

No he never did recognized Israel. He died full of hate and anger. There will not be peace anywhere, especially in the Middle East until Jesus returns. We are in the last days now!
