I've owned the phone for a little over 2 months now, and I'm pretty happy with it. Granted, I had a 5-year old brick of a phone before. I got the Cherry (red), my friends all love it and I still love to play around with the buttons when I'm bored. Overall, I would recommend this phone if:
- You want something small, sleek, stylish (and are willing to sacrifice some minor flaws in order to make your friends jealous of your phone)
- You are pretty comfortable with fancier phones and you have a medium level of technology knowledge
- You aren't a huge fan of flip phones
- You are willing to take the time to get used to how to hold the phone, use the touch-sensitive pad, the arrangement of buttons (for example, the "end call" button is located on the side... although you may also hang up a call simply by closing the phone) - At first it felt funny but now I'm completely comfortable with it.
- You use your phone as more than just a "phone" (camera, mp3s, alarms, etc.)
PROS:
- Sleek design, nice and fun to use
- Camera nice with sharp quality
- Screen is crystal clear!
- Has a speakerphone that works well
- Clear reception
- Having the slider is nice; it both locks the keypad and acts as a "hang-up" button. It is very satisfying to end a call by sliding the phone shut
CONS:
- Since I have a Mac computer and the Music Kit & memory card are kind of pricey (you need this to play music unless you plan on spending $1.99 per song downloading through VCast), I can't play music on my phone.
- Sometimes when I'm using the touch-sensitive buttons I accidentally call the first friend on my list, once I accidentally sent a text message before I was finished writing it.
- Shiny outside can show fingerprints, oil appears on screen after talking (but can easily be wiped off on my pant leg...)
- Small keypad number buttons take a while to get used to, are more difficult if you have large fingers (mine are normal sized, I guess)
Definitely read many reviews and check out all the features before you buy this phone... do your research! I did, and I'm happy with my purchase :)

I have the strawberry and I love it. I don't think the touch screen is hard to work at all once you adjust the settings to what is comfortable for you. The music sounds great on the phone and the camera takes the best pictures of any phone I have had.
I had the pink Razr and the rubber on the keypad started peeling after 9 months. I am glad I switched to the strawberry chocolate, but like with anything, everyone is going to have their own opinion. Verizon gives you a 15 day worry free guarantee with any phone you buy so try it out and see what you think.
Good luck with whatever you decide! :-)

Do not get it!
I got the original one in September, and the touch screen is real bad, it only holds 14 songs max, and other things. I do not like how much I payed, and I felt ripped off. It was a little nice to show it off in front of people, but it still felt pathetic. Also, there is a 85% chance that it will break. My brother got the
Chocolate phone 2 weeks after me. Whithin 2 days, it broke and he had to get another one. The, the top was going to fall off, and the color was scratching off. I was lucky that mine is fine. Later, he got the en-V. I am jealous There are some plus sides to this too.
You will have a unique phone, because most people either think it's cheesy, or cannot afford it. It is good for watching videos because you can veiw it from the side.
I think you should get the en-V. It is wayy better.

being an employee of where the Chocolate came from, get it if you are going to use it for its capabilities. Music. The MP3 part of the phone is good to listen to tunes. The phone itself might only hold 10 to 15 songs. You'll need an additional memory card that slides into the side of the phone to store more songs and pics. 256 megabyte cards may hold up to 125 songs, and might cost up to 30 bucks. 512MB cards may hold up to 300 songs and might cost up to 60 bucks. Also, there is a 1 gig card, and a 2 gig card, the 2 gig costing up to 99.99. That one holds a Thousand songs. And of course, if you have music on your home PC, (must be in WMA format, i believe) and want those on your Chocolate, Then you need to buy the Music Essentials Kit. It costs 30 bucks and allows you to transfer the music on your PC, to the phone, using a cord and a CD that both come with the kit, along with a set of ear bud headphones.
In other words, If you want the Chocolate for the Music capabilities it was made for, then be prepared to spend extra money for all the goodies.

The Strawberry Chocolate is the same as any other chocolate phone. If you are up for an upgrade at sales price and you realy want it, get it. Perrsonally I don't think it is that good of a phone. But there is a new Chocolate phone model coming out, waate for that.

NO it is not worth the money at all, my friend has it. it is a touch screen and is very slow and confusing. also while u are talking to someone the touch screen is not lit up and you cannot tell wich button is flash. the phone is also larger than it looks on t.v. i personally hate it. the touch screen is very sensative in the middle of a txt if u barely slip it will send the text or it will erase it! and the battery doesnt last long at all. the camera is realy fuzzy too.

The keyboard is relatively annoying to area out and is smaller than prevalent human beings are used to. the main problem however is the front buttons. they're very soft and a huge soreness. I recomend possibly the KRZR for a telephone from Verizon
