It's amazing how many people are saying it's already lost. This is the power of the Media. CNN is the worst thing that could ever happen to our country in a time of conflict.
It's sad.
Yes, writersblock, you are uninformed. You don't have a clue as to what is really going on there. Just what the bias media shoves down your throat....and you take it willingly.

Why would withdrawl make a difference we were losing from the start, are still losing and will ultimately lose the whole mess. We could stablize Iraq but as long as we are there the people will rise up against us. They see us as infidels trodding on their sacred land. They don't want us there. It is already falling apart. They have a civil war over there. Pulling troops out or putting more in will make little difference except for the amount of casualties on both sides.

Lost?
That's like asking how far Bush will fall in the polls before we have a coup. Iraq is nothing more than a pile of rubble sitting on top of the last great sweet crude reserve. It's been lost for quit awhile now--relevancy is not just a state of mind.

All blame should be on BUSH, who wasnt Firm when he should have been for his own hidden agenda.
Go against all intelligence, send afraction of the troops all intelligence told him would be needed for after war peace for IRAQ, continually fire generals that disagree with him, refuse to EVEN TRY DIPLOMACY WITH IRAN, and tries so hard to be funny when asked the tough questions.
Theres youre real problem, any way you slice it.

OF COURSE THEY WILL.
Liberals all have the same signature: create a problem, and then complain about it.
By withholding funds and support, Liberals will orchestrate a failure in Iraq. Then they will claim the war was unwinnable.
UNWINNABLE? You mean the same nation that simultaneously took on the Nazis and the Japanese in WWII can't handle some under-educated, under-funded, Islama-Fascists?

I think we have to ask ourselves how is stay the course going, 80 more dead Iraqi today. Would you not think that something different needs to be done? It seems to me that our presence there is causing Iraqi to die at a terrible rate that maybe we should just stay there and watch the sectarian violence continue. At some point the Iraqi themselves have got to take responsibilty. Maybe it is now. Or in a few months and certainly not years.

You can see the future of Iraq right now.It will be like Yugoslavia after Tito.Even if we send a half million more troops there,we can not save it,because we do not know the reason we are there.
