What is your nationality? In the US, kids as young as 13 are already making out which is quite young. Honestly there are a lot of 16 year old kids who are doing it and worst, they don't do it PROPERLY. They get in trouble like unwanted pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. You should also be aware of your local laws. Some country's do not allow minors to engage in any sexual activity even with consent. They even consider this as "Statutory Rape" which is basically sexual rape. Anyway if you are going to do it, DO IT PROPERLY. Use condoms or learn how to use condoms! Research online.

It's an alright age to start. I mean, I didn't start yet and I'm 21 and I think that the preferred age would be 18 but who am I to judge?

16 yr olds are physically mature enough for sex, but i'd argue that they aren't socially or emotionally ready to really get the true value and meaning of sex.. true love takes many years to develop. sex for fun can be, well, fun, but there's much more to it than that.. don't treat sex like a fun hobby or sport. save it for love and it will be much more meaningful to you.

If you are asking the question, there is probably something inside you saying you are not ready for it yet. When all the circumstances are right, you will feel it.

Morally- if this person feels ready and not pressurized then i suppose it's alright.
