Do you have your wrist resting on the edge of the desk when at your computer? (the one that controls the mouse?) If so, put something soft under it for support.

That's a neuropathic-type pain. That indicates some type of damage to or pressure on a nerve. You do need to see your doctor, s this tingling is a symptom of a problem and the problem itself must be diagnosed before it can be dealt with. Expect your doctor to investigate your neck.
THis is NOT carpal tunnel syndrome, as that involves the thumb and index finger.

it would be a nerve along the line from your finger up to your back of the neck. Any injury in the past in the c-4-c-5 vertebrae can cause bone to touch the nerve coming out of that vertebrae which gives you tingles and numbness in the associated finger. Each nerve goes out of the spine through a tiny hole in the vertebrae and each finger ias attached to a different one.

If it looks a little pale and is cold to the touch then it could be a circulation problem. There's a condition called Reynaulds disease (quite common I believe) that affects your fingers and toes.
