You can make old jeans into a skirt by opening up the leg seam and then sewing it back together as a skirt. You can make it whatever length you want. As to old shirts you can re dye black ones black again if they get faded. I do not know much you can do with old shirts. You can make a bag with jeans by cutting the leg seam and then sewing up the bottom or cutting off the legs and then sewing off the bottom. You can put patches and embrodery over stains and holes. It only works in some cases.

I took an old pair of jeans, cut off both legs. Then I sewed the leg holes closed, added a chain belt thru the loops as a handle and ended up with a cute tote. I like to keep keys in the front pickets for easy access.

Try to make purses. I always do! I had my mom buy me a sewing machine and I use it all the time. It is good because you can make them look exactly how you want, and be different. Also, you can make skirts out of old jeans! -Rayna F.

If you have big baggy shirts that have a cute print or something, tie them at the side with a hairtie so they are more fit to your curves and accent your shape.

iron on patches! go to A.C. Moore and they sell really cool and cute ones there. just put em on your jeans and some of your shirts and voila! cute as new!

w/ stiching, holes, dyes just go to a gd craft store and ask them for things u can put on clothes to give them a new look.... gd luck........
