I use lava rocks and fragnant oils(some people call them muslim oils) and a container. you can get the rocks from bed body and beyond for a net bag it will cost maybe $7 the most the oils the price ranges from 5 to 25 dollars. put the rocks in the container, pour the oil on top of the rocks close the lid. wait a hour shake the rocks up then punch holes in the top of the container. The smell will last for a long long time. you can add different oils to make your on smell.

"Long lasting fragrance is a very important feature for an air freshener. I suggest odonil plug-in is the best when it comes to long lasting fragrance. Other forms of odonil like-
• Blocks
• Aerosol
• Gel
• Occasion
• One touch
are also very effective. I’ve used each form of odonil and then came to a conclusion that odonil pluggy has got a long fragrance effect
The best part is odonil comes in different fragrances too.

I've recently tried the reed diffusers - Got them at Pier 1 after a present of their Christmas scent. I like them and find they are lasting quite well. Ads say they last 6 months-- so even tho they cost~~ $12, that works out well to me. If the scent decreases you remove the reeds then reverse- and replace in the bottle. Works for me. I have one in each bathroom window and one on my chest of drawers. Each is a different scent-- my chest of drawers has sandalwood (very old fragrance but I like it), the MBR has a lemon/something, and the other bath has a cinnamon spicy scent. So I'm happy.
good luck

I've found that the only ones that really work are pug-ins . They seem abit more expensive but they do actually work . Honestly I've tried all the others and I will only buy plug-ins now . If you put them at the entrance of your house it's the first thing people smell , and it soon travels all round your house .

Wow, I was just going to reccomend the wisp, lol. Someimtes your room might be too big, so one isnt enough, try putting two, on the highest power, on opposite sides of the room.
Or the Febreze noticables, which are pretty strong because they are supposed to be noticable.
