how do I see the progress of National Rural Employment Scheme started by Indian govt.?

I am trying to find out that if that expensive scheme really helped the rural poor and made their lives better or not. Also, is there a website where I can see the progress of all the schmes and programs being implemented by the Indian govt.

I think the Nations shouldn't depend on the Govt....as they will be disapointed. the Nations should help each other.
