Why is it that heterosexuals who are dead against homosexuality seem to think themselves qualified to answer questions on gay issues/life when it's glaringly obvious from their answers they know zip (especially about homosexual sex!!)

No, Packard T i'm not saying you should do that as you're heterosexual obviously.What i'm saying is that heterosexual people are making statements (guesses) about what goes on sexually between homosexuals which are generalised and uneducated, and you really shouldn't do that unless you know what you're talking about 'cos,basically these people are coming off as REALLY stupid (amusing though!) but irritating.

To Nutsters Space Cadet-Generally people who say they don't like curry (stange analogy by the way) have experience of what curry tastes like.My point is that speculations are being made about things these people know nothing about-I really couldn't care less what heteros think of me & my life but I am irritated by people who don't get their facts straight.By the way-why are all these anti-homosexuals hanging around so much in the LGBT section,makes you wonder doesn't it...........

I agree with you totally. I don't understand how people can talk about the feelings and experiences that homosexuals go through in life if they themselves are not homosexual. I as a black man would not be able to tell you the things white people go through in life since i am not white. I would not be able to tell you about the things heteros go thorough since i am not heterosexual. I think they are just guessing and that their opinions should not be taken to heart or considered to be true because they did not experience the things they are talking about. GOOD QUESTION!

Many of the questions that gay people ask can also be answered by straight people. I just loathe and despise all the anti-gay sentiments on here by losers who only come to harass. I've gotten into many heated verbal altercations with homophobic azzholes. I'm a married straight woman who has five close gay male friends (two of them going back 20+ years). In my 20's I used to go to gay bars alot with my friends and met and talked with many gay men and women. If I don't think I would have valuable information to give to a gay person's question then I won't answer it.

why does it bother SOME Gay people that SOME heterosexual people don't feel comfortable with homosexuals & homosexual behaviour?

I suspect that most of these people know Jack s**t about sex in general, not just homosexual sex ( pity them, and thier thier un-orgasmed wives) .
I'd be amazed if anyone could understand what floats my boat and why, let alond offer opinions on it as if they had a clue !

A question that intriques me too.
And why are they so obsessed (especially the "Christians") with what we DO? They seem to think about lesbian/gay sex far more than I ever (I generally waste my time thinking of women as fully rounded human beings rather than just as sex objects).
Some fool on here the other day said that a celibate lesbian/gay was a "contradiction in terms" - oh, there is nothing like ignorance to fuel certainty.
People, especially men, who are obsessed with gay sex are so obviously in deep denial.
Sweetie - just agree that the Christian Right "know absolutely everything about everything because it is sort of in the BIble somewhere" ... and then ignore them

you are absolutly right,i myself have a liberal mind about such things..i am a hetrosexual woman..but i am not going to judge homosexual as if it is a disease..we forget that homosexuality has been around for thousands of years..if they want to judge,then they are no different to those johovas that knock on your door to tell you how to live your life.some hetrosexuals enjoy anal sex.Often in a homosexual relationship there is a male and female anyway..i have gay friends..so i know,but they are just like anyone else.You sound very angry..understandable..but until these people come out of the 18th century and put themself sinto first gear..into the 21st century..how can we expect society as a whole to ivolve and move on..the world is full of people who are agist lots of things..some are too ignorant to understand..they will not educate themselfs..and so for year they argue and sit on the same boaring ideas and perceptions about what they think is wrong and write.
