Hey JO,
did you watch the skills challenge last year? Wade already beat NASH!..Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha! I TOLD YOU SO!

& stop the excuses! Both players gave it 100%. Because they had a section of fans that they were competing for & the winner gets 35G's(D-Wade fans got free play stations) To make their fans happy & to have an extra 35 stacks in their pocket, you better believe they were trying hard!......and after D-Wade finished in 26 seconds I saw the competitive spirit in Kobe's face. Kobe mouth was WIDE-OPEN & his eyes lit up like a light bulb! So don't give me that they weren't trying mess! Like Kobe should STOP SNITCHING, you guys should STOP THE EXCUSES! Wade won so that means he's better then Kobe, & that's all there is to it! WADE'S BETTER!

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha! You guys are really funny! Who cares if Kobe played in the all-star game & treated it like it was a Lakers game! The dude clearly ball-hogged the entire game. He's a guard so he took advantage of taking the ball down court & shooting with out passing it first. I seen it, you seen, & even Stevie Wonder seen Kobe doing that mutiple times....lol. The only time he passed is when he was in a jam(& sometimes when he was in a jam he still didn't pass)...... But I'm going to let you guys be proud of that All-Star MVP....but we all know that All-Star MVP doesn't really mean much. During the all-star game those guys don't play any defense, that's why you see players doing mutiple dunks and plays we don't see in real games...lol. It looks like the only way Kobe can shine is in games that has no defense being applied..lol. But go ahead & be proud of Kobe being a mvp of a game that Shaq dribbled down as point guard at one time...lol. Serious game, huh?..lol. Finals MVP!

Hey Jo,
all I have to say is, 2006 FINALS MVP!..BABY!..and a CHAMPIONSHIP RING to go with it!....LMAO. Nash can't touch that!..... and it's a dang shame that Nash got mvp of the 2006 season & Wade got 2006 ESPY award for BEST BASKETBALL PLAYER & became 2006 Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year! That shows you that Nash didn't deserve to be mvp, because if he did he should of been 2006 Sportsman of the Year & awarded 2006 best basketball player!...... But he didn't deserve it, and that's why they gave Wade them achievments! If Nash really had a better 2006 season then Wade, Nash would of got them achievments, but he didn't...LMAO!
Wade is, was, and always will be better then Kobe & Nash will ever be!

First of all, it's going to sound biased because I am a Miami Heat fan, then again I do live in L.A. My answer is Dwyane Wade. I'll make it very simple for you. And i'll even answer some other questions posed to me when arguing in favor of Mr. Wade. Statistically, Wade is owning Bryant. No, he isn't dominating him but the fact that he has better numbers across the board should tell you something. Here are their respective lines...Bryant has played in 50 games this season and has 28.7 pts a game, 5.5 assists, 3.5 turnovers, .40 blocks, 1.3 steals and is shooting 46% from the field. That is in comparison to Wade's 28.8 pts a game, 7.8 assists, 4.2 turnovers, 1.3 blocks, 2.0 steals and is shooting 49% from the field. Yeah, do the comparison. The only thing that Kobe has on Wade is that he is committing more turnovers per game (1 more) than Kobe. Then again, some of you will say the Lakers have a better record than Wade and his Heat. Yes, very true but we all know the season just prepares you for whats to come in crunch time. Must I remind you of how similar this season has gone for the Heat as compared to their last season? And who was it that won the NBA Championship? Thought so. Then some of you will tell me that Kobe has more rings than Wade. Ok, Fair enough. But last time I checked, Robert Horry (Big Shot Bob), had 6 rings equating that he is better than Kobe, right? Wrong. Argument done. Oh, and of those 3 rings that Kobe has, in those NBA Finals series, how many times did he win the MVP? 0. That would go to Shaquille O'Neal who currently resides in South Beach. And true or false, did Wade win the MVP in last years Finals? Yes, you're right again. What about the fact that it took Kobe 5 or 6 years to win a Championship. Oh, sorry, it took Wade 3 years. And can you truthfully tell me that the Miami Heat team of last year is better than either of the Lakers teams from 2001-2003? No, sorry, you're done up again Mr. Bryant. Now, lets put the Shaq factor up in this. Bryant had Shaq in his prime and had a much more complete and deep team. Did Wade? And in 2004, didnt the Pistons put the clamps down on the Lakers hopes (a series in which Kobe was held in check to 18 pts per game). They all say that Shaq hasnt been that important. But what happened when he went to Miami to join the best player in the game today? He won. So is this enough for all of you that want to make reference to Kobe as the best? No, imma give you some more. Just because its getting so intense for all of you, go check out the stats of Kobe's first 4 years to Wade's first 4 years. And get back to me on who has better stats. Hmmmm, I wonder how Wade will be doing after he completes his 10 years in the league as Kobe has. Ladies and gentleman, it is clear from the evidence that I have put forth, that the Mamba is not the best player out there. Flash is the dominant player of the two, not by far, but just enough to say he is. Thank you and watch out for a Suns v.s. Heat matchup in June, where the Heat will take the series in 7 games!

Kobe Bryant is a better defender than Dwyane Wade. As it was mentioned Wade gets his steals and blocks from an "off-man". Kobe Bryant has been on the First and Second team All Defensive.

For all you Kobe fans i have one thing to say in a way i agree with you, but then again i have to agree with all the ones that say D-Wade. Kobe has better experience but, D-Wade also is the better team leader. Ex. in 2005 got hurt in game 5 game 6 came around and the Heat got shot by the pistons even tho Shaq the Diesel played. Kobe is the better trash talker. I have to give him his props but if it had not been for him Shaq would maybe still be in LA but remember Kobe had a big head.
Clearly when it comes to sharing the fame D-Wade is better but all in all Kobe would probably win a one on one game because he's older more experienced and has been there done that . But I'm gonna give Wade his proper respects in sayin he's probably the best player between the two. ALTHOUGH I WOULD LIKE TO ADD THAT I AM GETTIN VERY TIRED OF PEOPLE COMPARING THE TWO!!!!

I would say Kobe Bryant but on a very very small margin. In a couple of years or so, Dwyane Wade will overtake him. Both can penetrate, take it to the hoop, and slam it. Both can play good defense. Both can run up and down the court. And both can take over games in critical situations. The thing that we don't see much on Wade is his jump shot and three point shooting that really are shaky. Whereas, you know Kobe's off-balanced jump shots and 3pt shootings. And another things is that, Kobe is more motivated to get the championship than Wade. He's hungry.

Sorry but All-Star weekend is meant to be a relaxing time for fans and players. No one takes any of it seriously. I still think Kobe's a better player than D-Wade. D-Wade wouldn't have all the hype he has now without Shaq, everyone knows that. Kobe was the man even before the NBA. Pah-leez. Look at the Heat's stats without Shaq--they were in danger of not even making the play-offs. Kobe lead his team to the play-offs without Shaq. I think that says a WHOLE lot.

I would suggest that there can be a substantial difference in a players skills in practice/challenge and in a real game setting. Kobe may not be the most likable personality but he has more finesse than Wade and Lebron put together. Wade still relies on his athleticism for most of his points, whereas Kobe's game is more well rounded. Wade can't touch Kobe.

D-WADE ALL DAY BABY, ALL DAY!!!! As stated before Dwade is the best player in the NBA! He took the Heat to the second round of the play offs his rookie year (without Shaq!!), then to the Eastern Conference Finals his second year, then won it all by putting HIS team on his back his thrid year in the league. Sure he had Shaq too but as we all know (even Shaq) he and his role on the court are not the same as they were when he played with Kobe and the Three-Peat Lakers, Dwade has taken his game to new levels every year, and sure Kobe has three rings but he's been in the league three times as long as Dwyane so give FLASH some time and when all the confetti clears we'll see who's on top. D-WADE ALL DAY BABY, ALL DAY!!!!

omg here you go again with your kobe vs d-wade bull! are you ever going to stop obsessing over comparaing the two??? nobody was taking that thing seriously, its all in good fun. so d-wade won, i applauded him. hell, kobe congratulated him too. BUT... kobe is still better than d-wade by a long shot and one little skills challenge still doesnt prove your point.

besides, if nash was still in it he woulda wooped all their a$$es! yes... even your lover d-wade too.

EDIT: uhh hey dumba$$ i aint stupid i know he won it last year and that nash got eliminated the first round. i was pulling for nash to win in this year because unlike you i actually watch other basketball games and i know that nash is a great ball handler. hello.... he won the skills challenge in 05! plus nash is a 2 TIME MVP can you say that about d-wade?? oh yeah, next thing you're probably gonna tell me is that wade got FINALS MVP right and that he has a ring but nash doesnt!? oh please. why the hell are you trying to be a hater for? get off of d-wade's a** cuz you're starting to smell like sh!t.

U really r stupid, Kobe couldn't care less about that stupid contest, what he cares about is performing in the ALL STAR GAME. Yep 31 points and MVP! He didn't let his fans down but what about Wade?

Let me see- 10 points, 5 TOs not a single rebound, unlike everyother player. He certainly did his fans proud! All he cares about is going to parties and looking good for his sponsors
KOBE's BETTER

2007-02-18 21:54:49 · answer #9 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

The skills challenge is nothing. Kobe was barely trying. How bout what really matters Kobe has 3 rings D-wade has one. Kobe's team is on its way up. WIthout Shaq D-wade stuggles to get his team in the playoffs.
