Tropic of Cancer is a geographic latitudinal line above the equator that runs through India, While Capricorn is below the equator. In betwee the two lines are the tropics.

They are longitudinal lines at 23.5deg N and south of the equator. The tropic of cancer is 23.5degrees north and the tropic of capricorn is 23.5 degrees south of the equator. The area on and inbetween the tropics have a tropical climate. This includes the areas on and aroud the equator.

The Tropic of Capricorn are the latitudes bewtween 0 degrees and 23.5 dgrees South.

The Tropic of Capricorn is the southern most place on the Earth where the sun is directly overhead. This is the height of the southern hemisphere summer.
