Yes yogurt helps with UTIs, but the best solution is cranberry juice, the natural acid in cranberry juice will stop the infection. Usually drink it for about a week and that's it

Cranberry juice is a generally accepted aid for urinary track infections though unsweetened yogurt can help if your infections are being irritated by excess yeast in the area. It'll also help you with the antibiotic cure for the UTI. I did read an article a few days ago where a woman with chronic urinary track infections found that thyme tea was a "miracle cure" for her. Take 1 tsp a dried thyme, add 1 cup of boiling water and let it sit for 10 minutes. Then drink it. She said that within a couple of days it went away on it's own and she hasn't had a bit of trouble for six weeks! It would be harmless and cheap to try!

Get UNSWEETENED CRANBERRY CONCENTRATE from a health food store. One pint will make 2 gallons with water.
Drink 8 ounces before every meal and between meals for a few days. It works great.

Sweetened juice feeds the infection. Infections live off of the sugar or carbohydrates we eat. (carbohydrates turn into sugar after we eat them).

Yogurt will help also, but the cranberry juice is recommended by Dr's.

Cranberry Juice is your best option and a good diet. Stay on the Cranberry Juice for about two weeks straight...Word of advice though...don't drink Cranberry Cocktail, or any other sugary cranberry drink...you need to drink Organic or just plain cranberry juice that's not loaded with added sugars to make your situation worse. hope that helps a little and good luck!
