Acer L100 Problem?

I have just set up my brand new Acer L100 Desktop Computer and when sound comes out of the speakers, the sound echo's and it sounds horrible when I play music.

How do I stop the echo?

Mute your microphone:

Start/Control Panel/Sounds & Audio devices; Volume tab, Device Volume, Advanced-Select "Line In" device and check the "Mute" box.
