You can go swimming with dolphins at the Red Sea resort of Eilat in southern Israel. Dolphin Reef is home to dolphins that have been rescued from zoos and aquariums. They live semi wild and are free to leave Dolphin Reef any time they want. They must be happy in their environment, because lots of dolphins have been born there too. If you spend the whole day there, you'll also notice that even if the dolphins are far out at sea, how they always return at show times, so that they can join in or just get some extra tit bits. I've been lucky enough to visit Eilat a couple of times and it's really worth the trip. The Red Sea is beautiful, the waters are clear and full of amazing fish. See the link below for further information about Dolphin Reef and the opportunity to swim with dolphins.

Hi Mandy I live in the Canaries and captain a fishing and pleasure boat. As far as I am aware no where in Europe is safe to swim with wild dolphins apart from the risk of sharks and other predators the currents in the Atlantic can be dangerous The other problem the adults quite often have young with them and are very protective. We have had some good sightings of dolphins on our boat as have many others and they can sometimes swim with the boat for two to three hours. So I suggest take a trip out on a good boat and get some fantastic pictures I am sure you will be thrilled Good Dolphin watching

Hi, My children swam with dolphins in Cyprus there is an aquarium in Agia Napa with regular shows, after the shows if you have pre booked you can swim with dolphins. They loved it and as my daughter was only little as she tried to get out of the water, the dolphin tried to lift her out. I would go online and find out the details....

You are advised to stay away from them now. Some have been known to turn nasty, and there have been accidents with them getting hit by boats.
