From personal experience, do NOT get D-Link. It usually interferes with a wireless phone, or sometimes just goes out randomly. I've never actually USED Linksys or Netgear, but I'd said go with the Linksys, because it also compatible with Linux, if you ever decide to use it. Don't buy Belkin, either, they are also poor quality. Good luck on finding the right router.

Linksys is the type that I use. It was easy to set up and very easy to secure once you get into that. Stay away from D-Link. I haven't used Netgear. Linksys is actually owned by Cisco, so you have their networking technology to look forward to.

A instantaneous modem router could be a instantaneous router/modem combination and a instantaneous router could in simple terms be a router via itself. in case you had severe-speed cable internet you are able to % a modem related to a instantaneous router to get on line.

if you go with the MIMO technology, then i would go with the netgear range max. if you are going with 802.11g, then dlink. ive had minor problems with dlink. i've owned a linksys, which i've had the most trouble with. if you ever get phone interference, its usually because you have two devices using the same frequency (2.4 ghz). try using a 5.8 ghz phone to decrease this problem
