I am very black, and very proud of that fact. But my friends taunt me because I listen to what they say is yt music, especially the Blue Oyster Cult and Thin Lizzy. I hate hip-hop--those losers don't even play any instruments. And Philip Lynott--he was half black, so what's the problem? I like hard rock, and there just aint no black hard rock bands that I've heard of. Any help?

Why should you care what they think? I black and I love all sorts of music. I actually love when a song comes on the radio and I'm the only one that knows it... Be proud.

Its ok for you to listen to whatever you like!! Maybe your friends are just jealous becuase you have stepped out of the "Normal "standard???
