If you really wanted to, you could, but being specific: Buy an LCD TV/Monitor for several hundred dollars and your done. Being more open, you have old CRT monitors and new LCD monitors. If you already have a monitor and you want to connect your VCR to it, you will most likely need to buy so much equipment to make it happen that it isn't worth the cost.

Only if you have an adaptor from some retail store. There are some KVMs that have an RCA input for a video stream.
