talk to them keeping calm, and listen to what they have to say, consider their side.
then remind them about creative expression.

Your father may be very strict, but hey, he IS your FATHER. I think that if you still want a lip piercing when you are of legal age... then go for it. Until then, dad is the boss since you live under his roof.

Dad is probably worried about you and the image you will be presenting with a piercing. You are only 14. Your biggest concern should be your grades. Try not to grow up too fast, you are only young once.

I personally think that a lip piercing looks dumb. A belly ring on the other hand is nice. Nose rings are gross and same goes for the eyebrows. Do you want this because everyone else has one? Once you get bored with this, think about the permanent scar you will have from the piercing. Why not start by asking to get your ears pierced?

Sorry, but I agree with your Dad. You are too young for make-up, and you should wait until you are 18 to get anything but earlobes pierced.
It's a FAD, and will be over eventually. Then all the people who pierced their lips will have scars forever.

Tell your parents how much it means to you to get your lip pierced. Maybe write a letter to them telling why you would like it done. Also, maybe you could make a deal with them, like if you get on honor roll, you can get your lip peirced. I really hope this helps!
