Yes darling.. buy another pay as you go (pre pay) Cell on the same network. take the sim card out of your broken phone and insert it into your new phone. that is all you have to do. The sim card is the small chip which is inserted in a slot found underneath the battery. To locate it remove the battery and you will see it, the SIM card usually carries the cell network's logo on so you can spot it easily.

I lost my pre-paid phone last month when i went on holiday and when i got back i rang the company i had my phone with and the replaced my sim card with the remaining amount of credit that i had on my phone and the same number.
