Try social services, your local council. If you look on your local council website all the information should be on there! There is often stuff at your local GPs or hospital too. If you want a private company to supply home help then social services should be able to recommend you a company!

are you in the u.k? sorry if you're not but over here you can have something called a health and social care assessment- check out www.direct.gov.uk for more info, basically the gp or social services can arrange it, they look to see if there are any adjustments or help that people can have at home in order to facilitate independent living as much as possible.

Assuming you're in the U.K? Contact your local Social Services,they should be very helpful and give you all the assistance you need. (Carer of various elderly people!!).

Hi, Speak to social services, Age Concern or your parents' GP - they'll be able to advise you on what kind of help is available and the costs involved ( or can advise you what free help they are entitled to ).

Age Concern run a Help at Home scheme where Home Support Workers are assigned to help with jobs that they can no longer do themselves or need help with. Check with your local organisation to see if they run this scheme.
