Next time, they should just urinate in an empty beer bottle or pull off on the side of the road. At least if they pull over, they might pass out in the ditch and not kill someone. I guess that would take away any and all fear of the talking urinal cake.

No...not violation. I think it's pretty funny and I'm considered a liberal by most around here. I think I might question tax dollars being spent like this, though.I'm sure many people have found these talking deodorizers and have stolen them for their own entertainment. So it's definitely a misuse of tax funds.

It sounds like a dumb idea but it is not an invasion of anyone's rights. The State has an interest in keeping drunks of the road.

Hey if it keeps them from driving drunk and killing themselves or someone else who cares about a talking urial cake at bars. Now if they start putting them in every public/private rest room in the country then that would be a violation.

No and no. I'm happy that someone is trying to further the cause of taking drunk drivers off the road. They have no right to drive while drunk so how are their rights being violated?

I think its a waste of money, if you are that blitzed you aren't reading anything.
I know of no 'right' to urinate in a propaganda free zone.
I know of no police state that worries about deodorants in a urinal. In fact that seems kind of sissy to me. Police states aren't ever sissy.

Considering the high amount of DUI's and repeat offenders in the state of NM, I think it is a good idea.

nope its not a violation of our rights. We have to endure innumerable advertisements and media promotion all the time I dont see this invasive. They need to get the pervert machines out of bathrooms if my kid asks me what a french tickler is for I am going to go postal.

Now if that ain't money well spent......I don't know what is. Not quite the police state you were thinking, but how do they know I'm drunk? Have they been watching me? Oooohhh....now I'm paranoid.
