thay need to be 1 foot long 12in. to be acuret on sexing then to do so hold tale at 90% angel as shone on the site by tail vent 1 bump female 2 bumps male

It is very difficult to sex baby dragons, but if you really want to then hold the baby in your hand turn it upside down, bend the tail back and if there is two lumps under the butt opening then it is male, and another, to look for on the male is along the insides of the beardies legs you are going to find a row of holes from the one knee to the other knee, the female has no signs like this at all.

this website has great pics but at one month your not going to be able to tell we have a female dragon named david because we took it to a vet and he sexed it at 5 months. not every dragon can be sexed at a specific age. alot of stores sell dragons at different ages if you are looking to mate wait a while till you are sure then when you are, buy an age appropriate mate for your little guy. good luck oh and the fine wine not such a good idea they get tipsy real easy!! jk

it might be hard to tell at such a young age , but at about a year old you can tell by turning the beardie over so you can see the underside, if it is a male you will notice two bumps down the bottom of the body at the top of the tail & the female has none.
compare from looking at pictures of males & females,
it is easy
