well i read your comments and not satisfide with your answers. a lawnmower dose not fall into the catagory of an atv why because for one thing lawnmowers do not go offroad at 45+ mph and do doughnuts jumps and dragracing. pleas note the avreage lawn mower goes between 8-14 mph so thats light speed slow but it falls into the catagory of a farm tractor because its made for power and work daaa.hay ma im ganaa mow the lawn with the atv ill be done in 10 minutes then we can go to the mall.---i called the state patrol and asked them the same / and saide yes you can all you need is a SLOW MOVING SING--/THE SLOW MOVING SING IS FOR VEHICALS THAT GO LESS THEN 45 MPH HU SO IN ORDER FOR THE LAWN MOWER TO FALL IN THE ATV CATAGORY IT WOULD HAVE TO GO ATLEAST 45-50 MPH. hu. ma im gona mow the lawn with the riding lawn mower dam boy you'll need a helment do you see the difreances.\-i also need a bicical flag-opctional.so keep this in mind SLOW MOVING VEHICALS-bicks lawnmowers wagens walking scooter du

Perfectly legal.... but yeah you do have to have one of those flashy triangles on it....

Really all that is for is for at night or near dark situations.... so other people headlights light it up....

And actually..... lol you can turn a atv into a riding mower (well pull one) and a riding mower into something similar to a atv... but you'll probably never do that.

No. You cannot. The lawnmower would fall into the same category as an ATV.

There are speed regulations adn minimum motor sizes for on road vehicles as well and brake and turn signal requirements. the vehicle must be registered and all the regular legal jazz. Why do you want to drive your lawnmower on the road. reminds me of that adam sandler show...

The pedestrian highway aka "sidewalk" is jogging. Do you "walk" that bicycle or do you "force" that bicycle. You force that bicycle ! right here in Ohio as in many different states a bicycle is a "criminal motor vehicle" on maximum roads different than on extreme velocity freeways. maximum motorists do no longer know this and would curse you out do no longer panic, highway Rage is crime maximum states(Punishment is the two penitentiary or loss of License for as much as 5 years). experience on Roadie !

I think that calling your local law enforcement office would be a good place to start. Better know as the Police department.
