I have a feeling I know exactly what type of car club your talking about and your not talking about the respectable kind. I'm going to start off with saying a honda civic is not a race car. After saying that do you enjoy dealing with cops? Becuase that's all your going to get with a car that has a loud muffler a body kit and a bunch of different stickers all over your car you will get attention from the cops and it's not fun. I used to be like this when I was younger and I got pulled over atleast ATLEAST once a month since I stop the whole racing game I get pulled over once a year and the only difference is my cars. I don't drive any differently. If you really want that attention heres how to get it. Get some friends and pick a name search around on the web for that name if there is someone that has a serious car club you should be able to find thier site. If it's not taken then find a lettering place plaster your car clubs name all over your car and put the web site on the back of your car it is what most people should be seeing any way. Get some shirts with the name and web site in plain sight and then go to the mall with a group eventually people will ask who you are and what your purpose is blah blah blah that's how you get new people advertising. Just keep in mind it has everything to do with your car even when it comes getting cops attention. Any honda will get a cops attention which I think you have a civic. Almost any acura will get there attention. Old muscle cars work cops give you respect but they will often pull you over just to look at the car a supra or even a 3000gt makes you seem older and gives you more respect plus better to out run the cops in .... not that I would know :) Basically spend atleast ATLEAST 6K on a car the more you spend the less chance of cops and more chance of getting members

I would begin with creating a website.. If you know how to do this its perfect!

Post photos, and encourage readers to post photos as well. After that, you can announce events on your website and you can host some of them. Like a Mustang Rally (example) and set up a time and place.

Before you know it... You'll have a car club!

It takes time, and effort.. without time and effort you'll have nothing.
