Why do liberals try to silence scientists on global warming?

There is as much or more evidence that global warming is garbage science and yet the left tries to silence scientists all the time.

First off, its not "liberals" who do this, but a handful of people who have a vested interest in making people think global warming is proven.

Some Greens for example, are doing what youre saying, because their party has a pro-environment program. Theyve been talking about global warming for a while now, and for someone to contradict them makes them lose credibility. But by no means does this mean that ALL Greens are silencing scientists. Some are, but not all.

And of course there are other groups doing this as well, but I wont go into listing them all, 'cause it would take up quite some space.

So basically the groups that are churning out studies that are saying global warming is real and are trying to silence studies saying the opposite have a vested interest in proving that global warming is real.

You mean like when that woman from the national weather service advanced the proposal to remove accreditation from any scientist who did not agree with the global warming scaremongers?

Or when the UN held a meeting with dozens of scientists, and even more bureaucrats, not one of whom wasn't a true believer in the global warming scaremongering?

As far as I can tell, the scientists who disagree with the global warming scaremongers seek only open scientific debate. This is what is getting silenced.

OK, I'll tell you what you already know. Liberals aren't silencing anyone. Republicans are trying to keep Americans in the dark about what almost all scientists believe; that global warming is real, and that it's largely man made.

But you knew that. And I think you know that it's true. I think you know that it's true...and asked this question anyway.

i'm confident that each and each individual has ideals and biases - and those become obvious whilst they are able to authority, Irregardless of ways insignificant that authority could be. whilst medical evaluations are suppressed that don't accept as true with the mainstream, it incredibly is a sorry situation. throughout the time of historic previous those with dissenting evaluations have been persecuted - and the outcomes have in easy terms retarded guy varieties understanding and advancements in technological awareness and technologies. If a "medical" concept or end won't be in a position to be brazenly debated and reviewed with the help of friends, it in all threat isn't an exceptionally solid concept.

I think you are confused. Global warming is not garbage science. There are many respected scientist speaking of it as a real concern to our future generations and us in our lifetime. I am a liberal and find your statement severely lacking a knowledge basis.

You can see all the scientists that believe that there is no global warming on Fox, both of them. Except that they believe the globe is warming they just claim that man has nothing to do with it.
Its a measurable phenomena, not a political phenomena.

Before you come on here and say ridiculous things...you should have hard facts and proof of your accusations!

Then maybe I would take your statement seriously.

Science is something that many believe can never be wrong. With such a strong belief in infallibility science becomes a HUGE political weapon. There's the science of the evidence, but who will interpret it and how... that can make a big difference.
