That's been the problem. I'm alone because I CHOOSE to be. It gets to be too much to have to meet some elses demands all the time and to have people constantly asking for things and being dependent on me practically 24/7. It's all so tiresome and draining. Now I do as I please. I am free to come and go without checking with anyone else. What's mine is mine and NO ONE is making demands on me. Decisions that I make are mine alone and benefit or take away only from me. I have found being by myself is so much better and fulfilling that being with someone.

There's any number of reasons why a person is alone. Maybe they want to be, or they're afraid of getting hurt, or they've had bad experiences. I'm 18 and in the military, I'm alone because I just havent found the right one yet. I'm a Master at Arms (military police), that anyone would have those of us in the military is probably a miracle. There is a guy I like, he's also my friend. I've asked him if a relationship was ever posible and he said he just wanted to be my friend. there's someone out there for everyone, its just a matter of finding them. :)

If by "alone" you mean single, I am because I'm taking time to focus on myself and fulfilling my own independent dreams right now. I'm moving to Europe within the year, so starting a relationship right now doesn't make much sense since I would just be ending it when it's time for me to leave.
