I would say "When you can take it" or as your parents would say "not until your older" or as a scientist would say "not until you mature"

I guess it kind of depends on what kind of movie you're watching and if you're mature enough handle what's on screen and parents usually just get all overprotected and cover your eyes... But I guess if you think you can handle it, they shouldn't cover your eyes.

Well, I'm 50 and I still cover my own eyes sometimes!

i would say that you shpould stop covering your eyes at the age of 7
because you are missing so much of your life
and there good going around being sceard
