With a little help, yes it can. You have to restrict your sugar and carb intake as the yeast thrives on blood glucose. I believe the natural cure uses grapefruit seed extract or something like that. Read more here:

It can but only if you can bear the irritation that comes with it. Try these home remedies.

Open 1 or 2 capsules of goldenseal and mix them with warm water and use as a douche. After cleansing with this mixture, I then follow the procedure by douching with plain yogurt . Goldenseal is a natural antibiotic and the yogurt replaces good bacteria that is lost during douching.

Just add a teaspoon of baking soda to about 8 ounces of lukewarm water (to help it dissolve) and stir it up, then drink!

For external itching caused by yeast infections. This works like you would not believe. Wet any kind of tea bag (I use orange pekoe) and then put it in the freezer until almost frozen. Take it out and apply to the affected area. Leave it on until it starts to thaw. It will take away the itching almost instantly.

Pour a half cup of vinegar and a half cup of salt into a luke warm bath (about waist high). Soak in it about 20 minutes and you will find almost instant relief.

Get a squeeze bottle full of honey and take it to the bathroom. Sit on the toilet and pour a very liberal amount into hand. Spread over infected area and SATURATE!! Sit there for at least 5 minutes or as long as you can. Take a nice bath afterwards to clean up, but you will feel relief INSTANTLY!! repeat every couple of hours if you need it. The yeast cannot live in the honey, due to the “live bacteria” found in the honey, therefore, the infection is choked out. (This bacteria in honey is the reason children under 2 are not supposed to eat honey) Cheap, effective, painless,

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:

Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

Well maybe, if you get your bodies bacteria or PH straightened out with diet.

Acidophiles pills from the health food store are very beneficial.
They contain live culture bacteria to correct your ph balance.
Eating live culture (read the label) Yogurt will help also.
