How do I get sucessful like this?

Okay, there was this record label C-Level Records. And I liked their songs, so I asked them to collab and we were going to... Then on their MySpace they had only like 1,000 plays. Something happened and they got really big and now they are at like 50,000 plays and are gettin over 100 plays a day. I asked the CEO (Who I was talking to before) how they did it, but he wont talk to me. What is the success for an artist to get heard like that? What makes people like and actually listen to your music?
