I've been looking everywhere online for a novel called The White Dark and I'm so angry at myself because I saw it at Borders once and I should have got it, but oh, well. The website doesn't have it listed at all, so I don't know where to find it.

Have you tried posting this question with the Librarian at the Library of Congress website at: loc.gov? If you do I am sure they can give you all the aid you need.

What was it about? That might make it easier to find.
Also was "The White Dark" the actual title, or was it a subtitle?

The closest thing I could find was a book called "Dark White" by Jim Schnabel.

Is it possible that this is the title:
The White Darkness by Geraldine McCaughrean

I looked for "The White Dark" and couldn't find an exact match.

Try to find it by title at www.bestbookbuys.com. It is a compilation of oodles of independent used and new book dealers. It searches alibris.com, abebooks, half.com, etc. and organizes the hits by price and shipping charges.
