I always fed mine the baby cereal until they were a year old or they refused to eat it any longer.

I don't know about that one...I fed my son cereal only a short time because he didn't like it. He started eating regular oatmeal or grits or something like that. I just thinned it out with a little milk at first. Before you know it, they'll be eating it like normal. Oatmeal w/ a little cinnamon & brown sugar is a great source of fiber and grits w/ cheese is a great source of iron. It's better to get them on regular food when you can. That's when my son started sleeping all night.

I've never heard that one... I fed them infant cereal only until they were able to eat cheerios on their own... At that point they also started eating oatmeal I'd zizzed a little in the blender before cooking. That makes the grain a bit smaller and easier for them to handle...

i've never fed mine cereal out of a box. i started mine on rice (whole pieces of cooked rice) at 9 months and oatmeal (same kind as i would eat at 10 months). so my answer is that you never have to feed it to them if you dont want.

I only gave my son baby cereal twice, he has weetabix and loves them. They should get all the nutrients they need in their diet .

It is incredibly fortified, just read the label... If they are not on formula I suggest till they are twelve months at least, if they are it doesn't matter much either way
