Daisuke is probably the favorite for AL RoY. Delmon Young and Alex Gordon have a chance too... In the NL, it's tougher to guess... but I'd guess Troy Tulowitzki or Kevin Kouzmanoff.

Delmon Young will be a star this year, and will put up good stats with the solid young core around him in Tampa. Even as a youngster he can hit to all fields and he is developing more power. He is my pick for ROY. If you want someone who could turn into a steal in the draft, how about RF Carlos Quentin or CF Chris Young from the Diamondbacks. The Diamondbacks have a lot of young talent and both these guys should blossom as everyday starters for a full season this year.

In the NL I am looking for Josh Hamilton to win. He was the #1 draft pick in 1999. He was also the Sporting News' top prospect that year. He had a drug issue. He hurt his back in a car wreck and went to other things wen they pulled his perscriptions. He is now with the Reds. I look for big #'s from him. In the AL it will be Delmon Young. He is the Sporting News #1. I don't typically listen to them. I mean it took Hamilton several years. What happened to Matt Bush? Anyway young is a 5 tool talent. As long as he can keep his attitude in check he will do very well.

NL- I'll pick Jeff Szmardjia, cause Cubs will probably have to bring him up right away with all the injuries, and NL doesn't have many guys for him to compete against, so right now he's my pick for NL

AL- It will be Delmon Young, as long as he doesn't throw a bat or 2, or 10 bats at an umpire again, but if he does, which I wouldn't be surprised if he does, than Dice will win it

the best prospects in baseball are Phillip Hughs and Homer BAily. Hughs is the better player but the yankees want to take it slow with him b/c he is only 20 and they dont want to start him until he is ready. The Twins rushed Liriano and that is why he is hurt. The Reds have a pretty bad pitching staff after Arroyo and HArang so look for them to bring up Homer baily who is a lot like Hughs and a future star.

Im not sure who will be the rookie of the year, but I will take Jeremy Sowers from the Indians late. He may be the next Greg Maddux.
