Here is an ovualtion calendar. Conception happens during ovulation. Since yours oblivously changes every month you just go to this site and type in your the first day of your last period and it shows the days that you are most fertile. Even though your cycle changes by days type in an average. As long as you try around the days signifed it could happen!

Intercourse is had for enjoyment and to show our love to our partner. If you are doing the act for the sake of child alone, it will not be interesting. What is required for conceiving is a small part of seman to enter your uterus. Have a nice enjoyable intercourse, child will come when the time is ripe. You have told about your problem. What about your partner. Both of you .have a check up. What is your age. If you are young do not worry. You will be blessed with a child early.

You may have mild irregularity. My irregularity was anywhere from 50 days to 200 days. You can talk to your doctor. Most people with mild irregularity can fix that by taking provera the same time every month and then taking clomid the same time every month. It creates a cycle that's predictable for TTC.

I went through the same thing. Try using a basal thermometer to check your temp in the mornings. That will let you know which days your ovulate. They usually come with directions on how to use them and can be easily found.
