my scans said i am 21 weeks i have a slight bump when laying down but noting when i stand up, everyone else seems to be say they are bit at this stage, is it normal to still be small, i am 5ft 8 and size 10/12?

I think you're fine...especially if your doctor says everything looks ok. I was getting big at 21 weeks, but I'm short and had a big baby. A close friend of mine is about 5'8'' and very thin and truly didn't start wearing maternity clothes until almost 7 months. She had a healthy 7 1/2 lb. boy. No worries!

My friend is about 5'6" and maybe a size 7-8 and she is due April 2nd. She still has barely any bump. I'm telling you the same thing I'm telling her. She's having a boy and if you are too then you will grow grow grow after 32 weeks. I put on 20 pounds in the last 5 weeks of my pregnancy. It's all healthy and NORMAL.

I had a friend that didn't show until the last month, she "woke up pregnant". She knew she was but just didn't show until she was almost 34 weeks. As long as the baby measures good and you are eating enough for two I wouldn't worry about it. Even if it's just a little bump, maternity clothes will help if you are wanting people to acknowledge your pregnancy. Good Luck and Congratulations on your Baby!

I know how you feel! I'm almost due and I don't feel I'm that my bump is big at all. I feel I look about 5 months pregnant. But everyone says you shouldn't complain. I just think every woman carries differently. But I'm sure you'll get a bump soon! Congrats!

Everyone is different. When my sister is law was pregnant, you could hardly tell. On the other hand, I started showing at 3 months and was huge towards the end.

Everyone is different. I started showing when I was about 5-6 months. So dont trip relax and enjoy your pregnancy while it lasts!

if it's your first, they tend to show later. A friend of mine only gained like 15 lbs her first pregnancy, and no one thought she was really pregnant. As long as the docs say you and the baby are healthy, i wouldnt worry.

Be patient, because one day you will wake up and you will have a nice size bump in your belly! A good sign that baby grew overnight!

I didn't show in my pregnancy, until 5.5 months, at all! I was still wearing my own jeans, just unbottoned, at that point. It will happen, don't rush it.

i say u are blessed......u will probably be one of those ppl who pop at 7 mos... no worries as long as the doc says everythings ok
