Make a round cake and decorate it with various candies to represent the organelles. Then cut me a slice--hehe

I am a science teacher and did this with my classes all the time. We made a large flat container of jello (green for plant and clear for animal) and then suspended the parts in it. We used things like large jawbreakers or gumballs for the nucleus, nerds for ribosomes, shoestring licorice for endoplasmic reticulum. For the nucleolus, some kids cut part of the gumball and put a smaller one inside. The container represented the membrane. Just go to a bulk candy store and look around.

Good luck!
