The value of such books is determined by multiple factors. These include the specific edition of the book; the year of publication; the condition of the book; etc. At AbeBooks, they are selling 25 different copies of Our King and Queen by Hammerton at prices ranging from $5.53 to $135.13. I would suggest going to this website and reading over the different versions for sale to see which most closely matches the books you have. That should give you some idea of their value. What you need to do is contact several different rare booksellers to get different quotes on prices. On another track you might wish to contact the Sothbey's and Christie's auction house websites, they have experts on every subject imaginable and if they cannot help you the only other source I can think of that might be able to give you more sources to seek is by posting this question with the Librarian at the Library of Congress' website at: loc.gov. Good Luck.
