I'm trying to write a story about how the popularity of soccer in LA with be affected with Beckham's move. I was just wondering that because of his arrival, have the prices of the tickets increased? If so what were the original prices compared to recent ones? Also I would like to know how packed the Home Depot Center field is usually (before Beckham even announced his move)...was it packed? was there rarely any crowd, in comparison to what we'll experience in a few months.

If there are people from the LA area out there who wanna be interviewed (it's for a class) and answer some questions for me, just drop my a line..i really want to do phone interviews..

Thanks

I live about 45 minutes away from Home Depot Center, and attend a few games a year. The stadium is usually full, but not packed like it is for Chivas USA games. The majority of the fans at Galaxy games are Mexicans, but there still are a lot of other fans. When Beckham comes, soccers popularity will skyrocket, with A-list celbrities coming to every game.

Sorry to burst your bubble angels, but A-list celebrities will not be coming to MLS games, more like C-list celebrities. Yes, ticket sales will increase, because teenage girls will all want to go see pretty-boy Beckham. That guy's a disgrace.
