I agree. Gay people have the same feelings as everyone else. If a guy was in the girls locker room he couldnt help but look at half-naked girls everywhere. Its the same with a gay guy in the guys locker room.

you know what's funny... women would be more accepting of a gay man/woman in their locker room than men having a gay man/woman in theirs. but thats only if you truly are gay though, not just dressing like the opposite sex. the way society is, its a fact that women are more tolerant and open-minded than men. BUT... gay people are still PEOPLE so they shouldnt be excluded because of their sexual orientation in any way. for gay people to have a separate locker room would be wrong and discriminatory because even if they are gay, they still have the same body parts... a gay man is still a MAN and a lesbian woman is still a WOMAN.

Interesting, depends on how the people feel in the locker room with the gay person. maybe there should be designanted gay lockers? I dont care really but some people really hate gay people( tim hardaway ) so maybe a seperate locker room would be best?? just a thought

As long as they do not display inappropriate behavior, I think they have as much right of access to their respective gender locker rooms. Otherwise, should there be a separate locker room create for all homosexual and lesbian folks? This would not be cost-effective at all.

I think taking a shower is a personal thing anyways.I dont want to be around anybody while taking a shower, gay or straight.Doesn't mean I hate the them I just don't want to be around other men when I take a shower. In the future they will probably just build single stall shower's so everyone has there privacy. No big deal.

well your question is two sided, first you are talkin about being gay then dressing like a woman , not the same thing, not all men who dress like women are gay, not all gay people dress like the opposite sex, its fine for a "gay" person to go in the appropriate locker im sure they dont walk around looking for naked men/women more than the next straight person.

Yes, that is a good point. As you say this is impossible to enforce, but ethicaly, you are right.

you are right, it is a sticky situation, and topic... the ideal response would to have a team meeting and make sure there isn't any hard feelings, or bigotry... and that would have to be a team unity kind of deal...

as long as the player stays professional about everything and always brings his A-game on the court or field, then there shouldn't be a problem.
don't see what the big deal is...EVERY guy or girl is gay to a certain degree...who has not checked out the same sex and gone.."man, i wish...."
