My mom and dad did not have the money for one but all my friends did so I just pretended I did not want one. Now that I am older with a college degree and working in society most people I know cannot even tell you where theirs is, so in the scheme of things it is not that important!!! Have a great day!

I graduated in 1964, and while I do not regret the purchase (which only cost around $25 or so waaay back then), I do not regret the purchase. I wore in from the time I received it during my junior year until after I graduated. However, I have to admit that I did not wear it past the first week or so of college. My son graduated in 2004, and while he really, really wanted it, I regret the $200+ we spent on it. He never regularly wore his ring--partially because he regularly played sports. I don't think the kids were supposed to practice in jewelry, and he didn't want to risk losing it when he took it off to leave in the locker room. I also regret purchasing his letter-man jacket--it was too heavy for California weather.

yes, i bought my high school way too early, I was soo jealous of my sister, that she got a ring but i didnt, So when i was in 9th grade, my last year of middle school, I went to Zales jewerly store, and My father told me i can order my ring, Just to shut me up, I ordered, I picked the preetiest one, and put the engraving High School on it, instead on where i gradiuated from, Well i kept that on my ring finger and when i graduated i was soo glad to take it off, Soo i regreted, that i was too young and too imature to buy the ring, I should of waited, till i was older, And when i look back at it, the stone was ugly, It wasnt really what i really wanted

Wish I hadn't wasted the money. No one wants to wear a ring after 19-20 or so.

Yes, I wish I hadn't bought it. I never wore it, and I don't even want one from my college or graduate school. I don't forsee any circumstances under which I would wear it or any other class ring.

Never bought one, never missed it.

The only ring I care to wear is my wedding band.

Chances are, you won't wear it, and it will be collecting dust somewhere...but if you really really want one, then buy it!
