Sorry I disagree ! I think this is entirely the point of Halifax by using "normal" people in their adverts instead of stick thin models....Good on em I say !

Who's in the bank watching my money while they all keep flouncing off to do musical numbers ending in a Tony Hart aerial shot of a giant picture made of said people... in the same vein I've never had anyone as good looking as the people in the new british gas advert (specifically the blonde piece) fix my boiler, in fact come to think of it it's debateable whether british gas have ever fixed anything 1st, 2nd or 13th time of asking..... and AA have more people fixing cars than anyone else... probably because 100 turn up at once singing... Don't even get me started on the specsavers adverts.... what the hell are they all about, glasses..??

I think it is good to see normal people on tele for a change instead of size 0 skinnys. I am not saying this because I am big I am 9 stone and a size 10 but I get sick of seeing stick insects on TV and magazines all the time.

Well, most the the country is over-weight and showing larger people on adverts shows that you dont have to be skinny to appear on tv etc.
Not everyone are stick-thin models

yes! glad I ain't the only one thinking this!lol They are really cheesy and their singing is as bad as their dancing!
They dont need to have stick thin people promoting the current zero size but they dont have to go for the ugle ones,there are some fat pretty people! (all in good fun people dont get too upset)

I like the advert. I like seeing different people on telly for a change. It gets boring when all the women look the same. They are real people from the branches, I'm guessing they picked the best singer.
