Wuthering Heights. I could go on forever about why it's so brilliant. Basically, it's a first of it's kind. The "romantic hero" was a monster. A really evil man. It portrayed love in a form that had never been seen before. It portrayed hate and revenge in a form that had never been seen before. It's deep and complicated. There's no other story like it that hasn't been a deliberate attempt to be like it, and even those are poor copies.

i admire lines and words better than i admire the "books" of Shakespeare. i'm that way with all books, certainly. i like to study a dozen words that purely provide up me. And now, a activity. i visit open a "complete Shakespeare" and factor blindly, see how many situations I ought to try this earlier i come across some thing worth quoting right here.... One: Henry IV area one million Hotspur (having purely been ordered via the king to "deliver us your prisoners.") And if the devil come and roar for them, i won't be able to deliver them: i visit after on the instant And tell him so, for i visit ease my heart, Albeit I make a probability of my head. isn't that so plenty greater powerful than the "Eff that, I ain't gonna do what he says" which you will pay attention in right this moment's entertainment? Sorry, that grow to be the choice of an answer.

I think the grade school first reading books are the greatest literature in print. Whither it is "Dick and Jane" ,"Open Windows",or something more contemporary those early books open the dialogue with all the good literature any of us ever read.

DUNE by Frank Herbert. and it is a good piece of literature. mainly because of the time and effort he put into it and the saga that followed it...his entire life revolved around finding and experiencing things to add to this book. it has everything needed to be a beautiful work of art.
