Who was your fav character? Mine was Darlene and Jackie.

I liked, and still watch, roseanne....darlene and jackie were my favorite characters....if I had to pick just one of them I would have to pick jackie though, just because after awhile the writers were only giving darlene one liners and having her exit the scene....the first season of the show I didnt care for...very..."white trash"..and the last season or two I felt like they were grasping desperatly for new material...as one person stated, it seemed like half the cast was gay (which I appreciate having shown on television so people will eventually realize it's an ok thing, even normal..) which I think was done in an effort to have something "different" to talk about, the whole dan thing, and so on....I loved the show and always will, but I wish they would have quit while they were ahead instead of making the last memories of the show unfavorable.

I loved the show. It was "real". Nothing phony - a low-average class family. The writing was excellent.
My fav character was Darlene and sometimes Jackie. Darlene's lines were the best.

It was fairly well-written and had numerous funny scenes,. I enjoyed the other characters, especially Darlene. Personally, I think Roseanne is disgusting and boorish, but the other qualities of the show made it tolerable. Got kind of lame, though, when half the cast was supposed to be gay. That was really far less than believable.

I did. I thought it was hilarious. My favorites were Darlene because she was so sarcastic and Roseanne because she was just so funny. Dan was pretty funny too.

like the best show ever for family sit com
they did so much stupid crap it made us all feel a bit smarter
and now matter how hard are lives where threes was all ways worse and that made us all fill better we could be them lol
mine favorite was Dan the man
but i can not help likeing mark like the dumbest man ever found i still enjoy watching it to this day
