a great marriage is where two people unite to be one , and live by their vows everyday and not just when its convient to them, its a marriage built on alot of love and respect for each other. Its not only a romantic relationship but also a relationship of best friends.. their life is based on truth, devotion, love, compassion, respect, compromise, romance, honor, and communication..

The greatest marriage just plan , no marriage at all, that is the most wonderful marriage of all . it's fantastic. Go where you want , stay as long as want, go dancing all you want , get all the loving you want, and don't have to answer anyone but yourself. no divorces, no kids, just a wonderful life beyond Any-ones expectation. A great marriage is.....when both the husband and the wife are willing to work as hard on themselves as they are on each other...Showing love and patience. Give and Take.....its all one big compromise. Marriage is great if you have the right partner!!!!

When both people understand teh differnces between male and female. When they are nice to each other, don't have any BIG expectations, and know that they are not perfect (and accept those minor flaws)
When they can work out their problems, and then go to bed and make love for hours. When they can let the little things go. When everyone has respect for everyone and last but not least, when everyone LOVES each other and puts the other spouse above them selves...
It's that simple..

One you treat like the career you've always dreamed and invest your time and energy just the same. Be a friend to your mate and they will always treat you with respect. Show them everyday that you appreciate them for who they are and that they are in your life. (My husband puts my slippers on the radiator when I'm out shopping for the day and has them warm when I get home and dinner on a platter for me(works for me like a treat, and lasts longer in my memory than a bunch of roses).!! Know what pleases your mate and bring a smile to their face and what to do or not do when they are unhappy. That means getting to know them as well as you know yourself.

The best you can hope for is someone that is respectful, giving, worships the ground you walk on, will stay out of your hair when needed, and someone you have great sex with. In other words, it doesn't exist. LOL
