I've tried field sales and hated that too, but the whole office thing really does my head in. I did office jobs for years but hated the whole situation of being stuck behind a desk all day. It seems that the only jobs that pay well are office jobs. Other jobs that involve being outdoors or even in a shop seem to pay rubbish money. Am I missing something? Are there great non-static jobs out there that I don't know about? Please let me know. Cheers

Go into the trades, you may work really hard intially but a study released two years ago said that blue collar workers earned roughly the same and worked about 6-10 hours less a week.

In a couple years you can get promoted to Lead or Foreman and you would use your office skills, in a job where you get physical activity.

Do you think the rest of us love sitting behind desks all day? No way! But that's why we get paid the big bucks (lol). The only jobs I can think of that pay well are in construction... you might want to try that avenue. Good luck!

You can work for the dept of transportation in your state being the flag waver :-). You know when there is road construction and the flag waver makes you stop and then tells you when to go.

It pays better than most office jobs lol
