flying out next friday morning and leaving sunday evening. i have never been out there just taking a weekend trip to look for jobs i am from the east coast. how much do you recommend bringing to cover food, drinks, hotel for two nights (3 star nothing fancy). probably cab fare as well and maybe some sighseeing. any help is appreciated.

For Hotel about 200.00 for food depending on what you want to eat, fast food is the same, restaurants a bit more, about 100.00 for drinks about 70, unless you are going out in hollywood than good luck. covers are usually about 30 and drinks about 8 a piece. Hermosa Beach off of PCH on pier blv. is a great place to go out and usually covers are cheap and drinks run at around 5 a piece. For sightseeing another 150. so roughly 600.00 if you want to eat and do whatever withoug having to worry,
