it started when my brother pulled my right arm really hard accidently (when i was stretching out) and clicked it...ever since, its been clicked really loudly...a snapping sound.

Im worried if this would have some severe problems in the future becasue the click is persisting even till today (its been months!)...and the clicks getting more and more softer as though its getting used to clicking - this isnt good is it?

What should i do?

Clicking can come from tight muscles and/or tendons rubbing over each other.
It can come from different forms of arthritis.
It can come from injury.

You really should go to a Dr and get it checked out.

Clicking in joints can be caused from a number of causes and Street Doctors gave out slightly misleading information. If you read one of the other more recent posts it's from someone who has a clicking knee as a result of injury, not the same thing as spontaneous click we all get after standing up. It's the same with shoulders. If your shoulder is clicking regulary and it never used to then you might have some sort of minor injury but as you have not mentioned having much pain it's unlikely to be too serious. Most shoulder injuries can be helped by physiotherapy so get you doctor to refer you. If you are young and fit then your shoulder is likely to get beter.

Watched "Street Doctor" on BBC1 the other night.. a guy with same problem as you was told not to worry, it's nitrogen in the joints that snaps and makes the noise so nothing to be concerned about.. mind you if it was me I'd get a doc to have a look (listen?!) to it, especially if painful.

It sounds to me like carpel tunnel.... A stretched ligament. And your clicking getting quieter tells me it's healing. I have it in both my shoulders from extreme repetition at work, but yours sounds like it's just from one instance and it's healing. It takes a while to heal since you can't really get away from using your shoulders.
