is the wii really worth it ?

i loved the gamecube & all it's games. i loved nintendo 64 & all it's games. i've never been an xbox or a ps person, all i've ever had has been nintendo. & duh, i've played xbox & ps but it never really caught my interest. i really want a wii but im not sure if it's worth it. help ? =)

You will Love Wii. It is amazing (and I'm 52 years old!). My son brought it over on Christmas Day and the entire family had a blast playing it. I imagine every household in the U.S. will eventually have one... or one like it. And we'll all burn a few calories playing it too! I especially enjoyed playing baseball. It cracked me up every time I'd strike out and the "crowd" would boo (I was better at pitching)!

Absolutely! The Wii is a great value. You get the controller, all the cables, and the ever so addictive Wii Sports. Also, the Wii plays Gamecube all titles. The top flap conceals 4 Gamecube controller ports and 2 memory card slots. You can also download classic Nintendo titles through the virtual console service. All of this, not to mention the excellent interface (a photo editor, news channel, optional web browser, etc.), makes the Wii practically a bargin for $250. Trust me, you won't be sorry

I love wii! If you are a nintendo person you should really buy a wii. You will love it. Zelda and Wario Ware are must buys and there are some other great games as well. It took a while for me to get one because they were hard to find but it was worth it when I finally got one. And It also comes with the wii sports game which is a really fun game.
