I don't see what the big deal is. 7000 is a very small number--we'll hardly know they're here.
(Why are people complaining about 7000 Iraqi's and not 13 million Mexicans?)

Bush wants to bring a million, I agree 7000 is too many.
Is an "iraqui" the same as an iraqi?

It's the right thing to do. In the past few years fewer than 500 Iraqi citizens have been allowed to immigrate to the US. That's outrageous given the war-torn state of their country, largely due to US intervention. We and other stable nations have an obligation to offer a safe haven to some of their citizens. I do hope this won't lead to a "brain drain" - a mass exodus of skilled and/or well-to-do citizens.

Iraqi people are not the problem it's the radical Muslims in Iraq,That's the problem.Just like the American people are the problem here it's the liberals.Can we send 7000 liberals to Iraq what a trade.

There will be plenty of Iraqis coming here just like Vietnamese during that time.
Leave them alone and fewer will come but mess in their country and get ready for boat loads.
